The Leafs had 3 games and won only 1 of them, so nominations are short this week.
Player/Goalie: Steve Mason (80 ov): 1-2-0, 1.67 GAA, .945% svs, 1 SO, 1x 1st star, 1x 2nd star
The only player really performing up to standards was netminder Steve Mason, who earned his first shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over the New York Rangers and also had an impressive outing in a 1-0 loss against the Boston Bruins.
Defenseman: Mark Giordano (71 ov): 3 GP, 0 G + 1 A = 1 P, -1, 4 PIM
In absence of several injured veterans, Gio was even more important than usual, logging around 27 minutes of ice time over the three games.

Pens went 2-1 during the week:
Player:
Adam Henrique 3gp 4G 1A 5PTS +3, 1st star, hat trick, gwg + set up a game winner.
The Pens only scored 6 goals this week, Henrique scored 4 of them and set up another. He scored all the goals in a 3-1 win over the Jets. To make this accomplishment more impressive is he has been playing on the 3rd line.
Defenseman:
Duncan Keith 0G 4A 4PTS, 3rd star. 27mins/game
Keith set up at least one goal in all games played and logged huge minutes all week long.
Unsung:
Brandon Prust 3gp 1g 1a 2pts + 2 1 fight won, 3rd star, gwg
Prust was not only bringing his physical play to the forefront this week, despite winning a fight along the way. He was also chipping in on offense with a game winning goal in a 2-1 win as well as a helper in the 3 games played.
