Default Mind Boggling vs. Mind Bottling. Lets clear this up

Pet peeve time. I still see it constantly on this forum, and its just like when you're having a conversation with someone, and they misquote some funny line and everyone cringes.

It is MIND BOGGLING. As in overwhelms your mind, cannot fathom, don't understand.

Mind Bottling was a phrase from a dumb character in a dumb movie that was intended to be wrong (think Derek Zoolander dumb) as they made a definition for a cringeworthy misquote. For those of you who care, it was Blades of Glory, and the Mind Boggle has been around LONG before that.

I'll get off my soap box now.

Pretty much everyone knows this. "mind bottling" is a meme started here when a poster used it once a while ago. I will continue to use it

For all intensive purposes this thread misses the mark.

In fairness, I've never read that thread.....I don't just start clicking on 1000+ post threads just cause.....this is a discussion group Its not like the new thread button kills kittens. Plus, it puts this extremely important matter right up at the forefront, even just for a day, and it will disappear forever

I'm pretty sure the correct phrase is Mind Bottling. Why else would people here use it.

He was being funny with "could care less" which should actually be "couldn't care less"
