NJ shuts out the Caps, 1-0. Cammy with the only goal.
Hawks lose to the Wings 4-1.
Jackets break a 9 game losing streak beat the Flyers 4-3.
Isles and Panthers off to OT.
Pens leading the Leafs 2-1 in the 3rd.
Canucks and Sens just getting underway.

Some nice comments by TSN on Gio and us. Didn't realise we were that far ahead in terms of points for all defensive units in the NHL.

Hope this works:
Woohoo, it does. Even more impressive numbers considering how spread out ours are. With San Jose, Burns(half forward, half defender anyway) has 17 points but after him, their next highest guy is Braun with 7. You take Burns out of their lineup and they don't have a big blue line threat. But with us, you remove Gio and you could still turn to Brodie and Wideman for goals and those 2 plus Russell for assists/offensive support.

Ha, I did, but was watching TV at the same time I was typing and got distracted. Apparently I'm not a strong multi-tasker tonight.

2-0 Coyotes. Goal getting reviewed.
Edit: It's a good goal.

I have no idea how that 2nd goal counted. That was a clear high stick, just an awful call. Also the 3rd goal may have been offside, but now it doesn't matter. This ones over. Time to move on.

Ugly 2nd half of that period for the Canucks. Kind of unexpected too. Coyotes playing two in a row, Canucks haven't played since Tuesday.

I know its very early days, but any result which keeps the Pacific Division nice and tight will do me fine.
