St. Louis Cardinals outfielding prospect Oscar Taveras was reportedly killed in a car crash while driving to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. His girlfriend, reportedly in the car with him, was also killed. Taveras's agent, Brian Mejia, confirmed the 22-year-old's death.

Yeah, definitely. I seen a few of his games and the way the kid was built, along with a good swing made him seem legit. Like others who've gone ahead of him, it's really sad to see.
