We just weren't good enough in the 2nd half of the game. Bound to happen sooner or later to us.

Lets rebound with a strong game Saturday afternoon.

Cant win them all - considering some players had their worst games of the year, it was still a fun game to watch and we were never really out of it until that 4th.

Hiller was still fantastic with the odd man / breakaway rushes he faced.

Meh, not going to win em all. Ran into a hot goalie, and far too many defensive breakdowns. Hiller did a good job keeping them in it, especially on what, 5 breakaways? But I think Ramo has also earned a chance to see how long he can take the ball and run with it. Thought this was one of Baertschi's best games and can't really say any one player was the goat tonight. Move one and prepare for Florida.

Flames definitely struggled on the defensive side tonight. Rough night for the 2nd pairing.

Bounce back against the Panthers.

Hartley won't be happy with that game.

All I can say is how damn fast the Lightning are. I haven't seen a team skate like that since the Russians in the summit series.

Flames looked gassed, good effort until the middle of the third. Bishop is a good goalie.

Brutal game by Russell. A couple giveaways that directly resulted in goals. Ramo next game I'm assuming. At least Brodano kept their point streaks going.

Russell and Wideman struggled tonight, which isn't shocking considering Tampa's speed up front. That's one good team. The effort wasn't lacking, but Tampa was simply better.

Tough game, Tampa played really well tonight. I think they are one of the top teams in the East.

On the positive side, I thought Sven was noticeable in the first period anyway...

and TJ is crazy good.

I laugh at those posters who were scoffing at me saying the Lightning were one of the top teams in the East. Might be one of the top teams in the entire league. Scored 5 tonight and could have easily had more.

Good news is we get to move on to the Florida Panthers who are currently scoring all of 1.46 GF/G.
