Cool! Though probably a bit (i.e. a year) late.
I really enjoy Lecavalier's face. He looks so surprised. That or he pooped himself.

This guy had this idea probably 10 years ago ... this would have been perfect about 5 years ago. Now it just looks late.

...Riley is a Calgary Flames fan who dreams of playing organized hockey — but it just isn't something his family can afford. Riley is applying for financial help when he meets Flames captain Jarome Iginla! After learning that Iginla grew up working hard for what he has, and seeing that even with his fame and talent this hockey superstar is a kind and generous person, Riley vows to grow up to be just like him.
With financial aid, Riley is able to make his hockey dreams come true. He knows that it will take a lot of hard work both on and off the ice, but he's determined to play like Iginla, and more importantly, to be able to give back to his community as Iginla does.
Young hockey fans will cherish Iginla Sparks the Flames as a relatable tale of hard work, passion for the game, and following in the footsteps of your role model.

Why does everyone have to hate the fire breathing horse?
Reprint it with Iggy having those shoulder patches and I will purchase it.

Change "Iginla" to "Giordano" and this book will become a best seller...

Looks like something I would have paid $15 for at one of those school bookfairs around 2005.

That's a super amateur cover. Generic font (the name of that font is on the tip of my tongue) and poor layout. I thought the Lightning player was called Mike Leonetti but it's just a bad painting of LeCavelier.

I think the "About the Author" section explains it all.....
"...A lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan..."
My guess is he doesn't realize Iggy was traded....let alone that he's played for 3 other franchises now.
