Default Trick or Treating - 2014

Handing out full-size chocolate bars again this year. Kiddies, come get some!

Supposed to be real nice out tonight, hoping for a high kid count!

Post your area and how many kids you got.

I'm hoping my kids get a good haul this year in our new neighbourhoood. I don't eat a lot of candy and chocolate but I do enjoy going team-fat after halloween.

My part of Braeside will be a ghost town once again (pun intended).

In the 14 yrs I've lived there, it's been worse each year. Last few years I think we got 4 or 5 groups.

Sad really.

I'm handing out lattes to kids and PBR's to teens.

In 2013 we had about 50 kids, think we could break that tonight.

I miss our old neighbourhood in Calgary. The homes on the street always had beer or hot chocolate/bailey's for the dads as we went around.

Crazy when I grew up there there were hundreds of kids out and about on halloween. Its turning into an old folks area!

On a side note we get 150+ kids to our doorstep in Airdrie.

My area in Sundance is awful. I don't think we have ever had more than 10 kids on a Halloween night. Now we take the kids to my parents street in Canyon Meadows and its still rocking. They still get 80-100 kids a night and most houses are handing candy out.

Varsity Village just north of U of C. I expect 100+ kids, including those driven in from other areas.

When I grew up we would get 250-300 kids in our neighborhood. Its down to about 50 now but thats because all the satellite neighborhood's developed.

I was down in Lake Chapparel last night and I think that would be a fun neighborhood to trick-or-treat.

At Lake Chaparral. Usually a decent turnout every year due to young families in the area. With the weather being so good and it being a Friday, I expect it to be even better than the last few years

WE had 87 last year.

There is a drinking game going around this year. For every Character from Frozen you get you take a drink (or a shot) depending on how busy your location.

You may get pretty wasted tonight.. haha

Elsa. And you'd be dead drunk within 4.5 minutes.

We bought some candy and will turn the light on but aren't really expecting anyone. Just moved in to Redstone, very new area, lots of people haven't even moved in yet. You never know, though.

Can't be bothered going all the way down the stairs though. We'll just lob candy at kids from our deck if they ring.

I ran out of candy last year (over 100 kids) in Mahogany. Expecting more this year for sure.

Just moved to Brentwood in September, no idea how many kids will show up. I've prepped for about 50 so we'll see.

I was in Hasboro before and it was a ghost town.
