Sold out in under 30 minutes. Not surprised though given the initial stock leakers said they would have.

Anyone get one?

Hard to be anything but disappointed with 7 hours of LTE browsing when the battery is 2300 mAh.

For comparison - The 5s has 1570 mAh and gives 10 hours over LTE.

Still want to try it though.

Wow. I went on like 2 mins ago, and it said there were white ones available. I pressed back to look at the pictures more carefully (not sure I want white) and went to check out again, but it's gone once again!

Just had the option of grabbing a white 32GB, clicked back to black, then to white. 5 seconds later it was gone again. Must be people adding them to their cart and then not going through; so the system releases one at a time.

Gonna hold off. I just got this G2 a couple weeks ago (free, thanks to LG). I'm kind of obligated to use it for a couple months.

I look forward to reading your reviews!

Well, wasn't thinking that anything Google could release would tempt me from eventually getting the next big phone, but this device is just hard to ignore...
Edit: And already kijiji re-sellers are doing their thing.

When I saw you said that I flipped back and forth between the options and did have it say it was available a couple times.

I wonder if perhaps they are slowly releasing a part of the stock to frustrate people who want to simply re-sell.

I'm wondering if that's the case too... although they sold out in the first half hour I've seen stock pop back up one or two times without in the hour afterwards.

I just got a White 32GB. Sat there for about 20 minutes popping back and forth between White and Black models every minute or so while browsing CP on my other monitor and it suddenly popped up with Add To Cart instead of the out of inventory message.

Really tempted to jump on one of these. Through work I can get an S4 for $0, so if I resell that for $650 or so, I end up with an N5 and an extra $150 in my pocket.

This is basically what I did, too. Back and forth back and forth. Finally able to complete an order for a 32Gb White

I just checked again and after 3 or 4 clicks I had a 16GB Black in my basket. They are there.

Bought a 2nd one for a friend using the above technique. At about a 3-4 week wait (vs the Nov 8th date I had at 1pm)

There are 32 gb in stock right now. But a 5 inch screen is too small and not happy with the 8mpxl camera. I'll prob end up getting a note3.

-Is it a pentaband phone again? Pretty great if it is and you can move from carrier to carrier with an LTE device.

-Good to see a 16/32 GB options, I would have liked to continue with an 8GB one but oh well, if/when I get it I'll go with 16.
-Incredible price, even more incredible when you factor in it's an LTE phone. Google seemed hard on that price point and some things were obviously scarified (battery) but I'll take the trade off.
-Stupid Google, let me see a fun press conference announcing devices. Lame asses.
-Like the option of black/white to start off

Just noticed the white 32GB is available, looks like stock is coming in, much better rollout then the debacle last year.

That price can't be understated. I've long been a booster of wireless freedom from carriers and I love the Nexus program for making that an option for people. When you have two similar phone, one for 399 and the other for 819, it's not even a contest.

8MP is only the start of what makes a good camera I hate that mega pixel count has become such a topic when there is so much more to a camera then how many pixels it captures. I obviously haven't played with the Nexus 5 but the OIS addition seems to be a big one. Motor and actuators on the x and y planes for super clear images. Google is also boosting the ability to capture true HDR images, which is pretty interesting.

I would love to see a Note sized Nexus device option though too.
