I think it might eat up 1 UFA year? I'd have to check for sure though.

I think it does get him to UFA status after the contract. Probably makes sense why he signed it.

That's quite the money for potential. He had 30 points last year in 70 games and played with decent players.

I'm not big on him, he might end up being one of those guys who couldn't put it all together imo.
