New goal and intermission horn?

Hey everyone,

Anybody know what's up with the new goal/intermission horn? Sounds awful during this Flames and Bolts game.

I didn't notice a new goal horn. Only noticed the intermission horn and the 'yahoo' after the scorer's name was announced.

Read or heard somewhere during the game they were having Technical issues with the system for the horn.

The yahoo came back mid last year.

Guess the intermission horn was broken so they found an audio clip of an air horn. Haha

I think first period had a guy with the air horn.

But totally agree with OP, the intermission horn sucks

It was. That jerk just happened to get those primo seats at the scorer's table.

Speaking of, could that be the best job - outside of playing - in the sport? You get paid to sit in the best seats in the world and watch hockey.

I noticed that end of the period also. I am not sold on it right now. Not complaining though, it's just different and it is something to get used to.

I noticed the bass drivers were broken at the beginning before puck drop. Might be a speaker issue.
