Bryzgalov stood on his head in his season debut and the 3rd line was money in the bank to eke out a 2-1 win over the leafs. Still concerning that the top 2 lines are yet to get going at all.

First win of the season!
Bernier was very solid again, surrendering only one goal on 35 shots. Would like to see this high-octane offense net a few more though.

With the absence of Trevor Smith, we kind of saw this coming. The Wild squeak out a extremely lucky game.

Lost because of a guy named Boone ... at least put up a fight against a good Pens team, shots were about even. Tried to get the top 6 going by switching Callahan and Smith ... didn't work. Maybe we'll juggle the lines a bit for day 4

Big games from our Russian duo - Tarasenko with the GWG and Kuznetzov gets the call up and snipes the insurance goal.

Bryan Little with 2 more points and 1st star again, seems to be fitting in nicely for the Ducks. Toews with another goal and Sven scores his first CPHL goal! Good to start the season with back to back wins

Isles and Canes have a huge yawn-fest, with the Isles outshooting the Canes 24-23.
Andersson stands on his head putting together a shutout and Fehr and Read continue playing strongly.
Nice to start 2-0.
I'll probably start tinkering now when I shouldn't...

Preds drop a close one to the Stars. We threw a lot at them in the third and despite going into the period with a 1-0 lead we couldn't hold the fort. The Stars managed three goals on nine shots that period (one into the empty net) and won the game. Still not a bad showing all around though.

rough game for the sabres, Joey Mac played well holding the fort and allowing only 2 goals, however the team was shutout and lose Lupul to injury, which fortunately was more minor that we were anticipating but will be out for about a week which will lead to Bailey getting a promotion from the 4th line

Yuck, bad enough I have the task of trying to bring respect to the "Canucks" name, I lose to the Oilers.
Jamie Benn with 2 points and did his part in the shootout.
Damn, shootouts. At least we got a point.
Time to smack some sense into my D-men, Mike Smith can't be expected to face 45 shots a game.

It is nice to post victories in a back to back set against division rivals.
Did better in the dot this game. Third line played like hot garbage. Moen scored a goal in both games. Hedman with the SO winner to seal the deal.

Montreal ties it up early in the third but then Pairse and Elias take over and score a goal each to finish the game.

Gabriel Bourque was the difference in this one, potting a pair including the GWG.

Good start to the season for the Blackhawks getting two close wins against two good teams in Dallas & Buffalo. Luongo the difference thus far.
