Default Crap! Josh Jooris injured.

Quote:
On Saturday afternoon, Curtis Glencross, Mikael Backlund, and Josh Jooris did not take part in practice at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.
For Glencross and Backlund, it was simply a maintenance day but for Jooris, he was held off the ice because of an upper body injury he sustained in Columbus on Friday night.
It is unlikely he will be able to play in tomorrow's game against the Winnipeg Jets.
"We're going to know more probably in the next few days," head coach Bob Hartley said. "We don't know the extent of the injury yet.
Crap!!!

I wonder if it was his hand when he blocked that shot with it

Does this mean setoguchi is back in or another call up from the AHL?

Hopefully its a relatively minor injury and he won't miss more than a couple of games.
This team needs players like Jooris in the lineup. The guys a spark plug, just like Byron (another of my favorite players).

More Jooris and Byron.... less Stajan and Bolig.

Probably Setoguchi. You can't go wrong by playing one of the new GM's summer signings.... even if you do lose the game.

Setoguchi has a good chance to play IMO because a returning player often has a big game against his previous club.

Crap tough news for a young player trying to make an impression, hope the news is not serious.

Seems like last year all over again. Someone gets injured so we call someone up looks great then get injured. The Flames call-ups curse.

Hopefully it's relatively minor and this is precautionary.

If there ends up being a call up, it should be Granlund, with Colborne shifting to RW. Versatile player, can plan in many different roles and is off to a decent start in Adirondack (and is one of the few who is).

Would also like to see Hudler-Backlund, Monahan-Colborne and Glencross-Stajan united for a game or two see if it sparks some offense.

Byron-Backlund-Hudler
Gaudreau-Monahan-Colborne
Glencross-Stajan/Granlund-Raymond
Bollig-Stajan/Granlund-Bouma

It's a bummer for Josh, but in pretty sure he'd rather nurse an injury on an NHL salary than his AHL paycheque. Get well soon, shooter!

Came here to say that does indeed suck, as someone pointed it he does provide same spark Byron did before.

However, I bet most ufc fighters wish that their injuries paid this well haha.
