!Jihad! In My Backyard Contest!

I'm half expecting a repeat Wannamaker because I don't post all that often, but I figure it's worth a shot!

Enactus is a nonprofit, student run organization that identifies needs around Calgary communities and finds realistic solutions to those issues.
ReCreate is a project that teaches elementary school children about the importance of the environment, entrepreneurship and being socially conscious citizens. Students up-cycle and re-purpose everyday waste into new innovative products which are then sold, with all profits going to a local charity - Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids. Every $1 earned provides 1 bagged lunch to hungry kids around Calgary.

This contest rewards the winner with $5,000. These funds would be HUGE for us as it would allow us to expand our current projects, including expanding the ReCreate project to more schools, and also develop more projects that will improve Calgary communities.

Actually, we are currently in early development on a separate project to try and tackle the coffee cup waste issue!
