WestJet brings a 'Christmas Miracle' to the Dominican Republic

Christmas came early for residents of Nuevo Renacer, Dominican Republic, after they were chosen as this year’s recipients of WestJet’s Christmas miracle.

We chose to shoot the video this year in the Dominican Republic, because we’ve been working with our partners Live Different there, since 2012 and we’ve really got to know the residents,” WestJet sponsorship manager Corey Evans said in a video.

Last year's video has been viewed a ridiculous 40+ million times across various platforms.



More than enough of a return on investment given the positive PR spin.

The nice thing about these things from West Jet is that I know some of those that put these things together....they are generally fantastic people and this fits perfectly in with their character and who they are. This isn't just a publicity stunt for them.
