Ladi Smid gave #Flames a scare. Severe tooth infection. Narrowly avoided Staph infection. 5 teeth removed. Should skate soon.

Bad news now. Markus Granlund suffered suspected concussion last night in Vancouver.

This sucks. For the second time, Granlund has an NHL opportunity staring him down and he's impressing in the games he plays and then gets hit by injury. So unfair.

Man the injury bug is hitting hard. So much for a bunch of us... Including me... Being worried that there would not be enough spots open for young guys to have a chance.
Really sucks to hear about granlund. I noticed the hit to the head last night and was worried. No call in the play of course but the guys put it arm right out at him I thought.

It looked like a late hit on the television feed - pretty dirty hit and not even a mention by the Commentators although Vancovuer did score just after this

Yep, that Granlund hit looked like a forearm shiv to the head when I watched it last night. I was actually surprised he played for the rest of the period.

That's almost 2 staph infections in as many years for the Flames, I don't know much about that but could they be related to something in the Flames medical system?
