From most to least likely, IMO:
Gaudreau, Jooris, Baerstchi, Granlund, Bennett.
Voted Gaudreau only before seeing I could have picked two. Jooris is my second choice, which assumes that one of Raymond and Jones is unavailable for opening night.

I would love to see them all in the team. Next year.

I'd been voting Sven in the other polls, but being at the game last night changed my mind. Gaudreau and Jooris will both be on the team I think.

I say Gaudreau and Jooris. JG and Baertschi were fighting for the same spot and JG has been quite a bit better.
Jooris is fighting with Granlund, Jones and Seto and he has certainly been better than the two vets (basing Jones on his career, not camp). Granlund and he ate a toss up with an edge to Granlund, but injury has him out.

Johnny Hockey for sure.
... and then Jooris. But wouldn't be surprised if Sven knocks out Jooris... but Sven certainly doesn't deserve to be here instead of Jooris, based on the pre-season performance of both of them.

trade/send down both Setogucci and Jones. Then Jooris, Gaudreau and Sven would and should all make it. Sven may not have beaten out Jooris for the spot thats open, but he certainly showed that aside from Johnny, he is the most NHL ready and dynamic player we have until Bennett is ready.
Given what he went through and how he adjusted, overcame and then showed up to play in camp this year, I would be disspointed if he didnt make the team and one of Jones or Setogucci or Bollig made it just because of contract status. If you are going to promise the players that performance determines where you play, then make it hold true for every member of the team.

Only voted for Johnny hockey. Looks like jones will be ready to start season. Sorry CP but there is very little chance they send him down and probably less chance that they could trade that contract.
Setoguchi has played himself to waivers or pressbox. Not sure why CP wants to give that spot to a kid? Kids need playing time.

I would think the message has to be that they have done everything that was required to make this team and that their assignment to the AHL is only temporary due to contract restrictions right now... Of course they have to keep up what they've shown but they can expect a call up within the first few weeks of the season. This speech will apply to any of granlund, baertschi, gaudreau, jooris, and ferland.
It would be so refreshing to see the flames surprise everyone and actually live up to the promise that these kids can take the spots of the vets... Every team in the league says these things but it rarely happens. If Seto and jones (if healthy) were traded/put on waivers to make room for 2-3 of these kids that are ready it would give a lot of credit to the organization.

You and I must have been watching different games if you feel that Baertschi had a great camp and is more deserving than Jooris to start the season in the NHL. Sven had on ok camp... Jooris has had a great camp.
