NHL Special: Camp Life - Thursday Sportsnet

Just saw a promo for this show on Thursday on Sportnet with some behind the curtain scenes during training camp. Had some stuff with Treliving and Burke talking about some players (promo didn't show who they were discussing).

Might be worth a watch for Flames fans.

Its on at 7pm Eastern, 4pm Pacific so i'd assume 5pm in Calgary but might want to check listings.

Watched this... just a few segments about a few Canadian teams.

1st was Bonino and Canucks - new guy fitting in
2nd was Scrivens and Oilers - just about his habits and all that.
3rd was Flames and Treliving - more details below
4th was something on Ottawa

Flames segment:

• Started with intro to Trelving and the moves made this offseason.
• It was day 2 of camp.
• Team is in the building stage, need to properly assess assets
• A bit of positive talk on Granlund's all around game.
• Diaz has pop while skating.
• Hathaway - not afraid to get in on the forecheck first.
• Burke talking about someone with an all around game, very honest player but not sure his skill level is high enough. They never reveal who the player is.
• Need to add/accumulate assets
• First time in a long time there are young players on cusp in Calgary.

Most of those comments were from scouts and not Treliving

Nothing much really revealed... not really that exciting.

Sounded like Treliving was talking about Granlund's skating has "pop". He was talking about Granlund and said "he's got pop to his skating" not "Diaz's got pop to his skating". At least that's what I heard.

It was day two of camp, so my guess is they were talking about Hathaway, but I'm not sure.
