Does anything do excessive and over the top more than the Canadiens home openers? Hint: This isn't the Olympics.

Crosby scored a lucky goal, but it always seems to be the good players getting the bounces.

Yeah this Habs thing is pretty damn corny. Some of them look a little uncomfortable holding that torch in the air.

Ottawa scores off a pop fly the goalie lost.

Looks like Lazar's first. I think Zach Smith tapped it in actually.

With varlamov on IR, Berra starts. Ottawa ran him early and he left the game. Ouch.

Hmm, did Smith need to put that over the line? Suppose you can't blame him for making sure, but damn thats harsh on Lazar to lose the goal.

Pascal Dupuis just took a puck in the neck. He is down, does not look good.

Stretcher coming out.

Langkow type injury it seems. Pretty much a clone of how Langkow got injured. He gets shoved and while down takes a puck to the neck/spine.

Havlat is down as well. Just got crushed from behind. I didn't see it good but it looked like his lip or nose was hanging off. He is bleeding profusely. Just a nasty cut. No penalty.

How these refs miss these obvious hit from behinds is beyond me. What a joke. That should be a 5 minute major.
