Default Stolen cars in Calgary: Red NSX and Black 4 Runner

Its a long shot but a friends house was broken into today and he had 2 vehicles stolen. Both are easy to spot.

Working on details but there were stolen this afternoon. If you spot either of them please call the cops immediately!!!! thanks for the help!

Frist one is a red NSX. It doesn't run so it'll most likely be on a trailer. Super easy to spot as there aren't many around.

Second on is a lifted 4 runner on bronze wheels.

It already is.

Figured the more people that see this the more likely the NSX will be spotted. Don't think it was taken too long ago so it could be in traffic somewhere on a flat bed.

Wow, those are very identifiable vehicles. Good luck.

Crazy, hopefully the police have a call out for the number 1 highway going both east and west.

I've always been a fan of the NSX's. Good luck to your friend!

Thanks guys! Really hoping they're found.

Neighbors saying the red NSX was driven away but kept stalling out. So no trailer.

Does he live rural or urban? The NSX has to be worth a lot as a rare collector car.

The cars were taken from Sandstone.

4 Runner was recovered in Bedington just parked on the side of the road.... couple tips on the NSX but it's still not found. It barely runs so it couldn't have gone far.

Maybe he could send a tip to Jalopnik? There are few things they love more than the NSX.

They've done "help this person find his stolen car" stories before. That site has a huge readership and a car that rare would be easy to spot if the crooks try to sell it online.

Hopefully, since they just dumped the 4Runner on the side of the road, they've done the same thing with the Acura.

As I recall NSX's are a doddle to steal. If he gets it back tell him to replace the glow ring, a 10 year old can jump them.

Reading they were recovered. Curious about any details you can share.

Hope they're both in one piece

The guy lives a couple houses down from me and on the main street as well. It's crazy how they are able to steal both cars like that.

Any mid nineties to 2000 Toyotas and Hondas had glow rings in the ignition, you could pry them open with a penny if you had the hand strength, I worked with 12 year olds that would steal 10 cars over a weekend, all you needed was a nail file.

Yup, both vehicles were recovered.

Don't really have any details to share other than it in the hands of the CPS. Really hope they catch these punks.

I heard the 4runner was near Senoires parked on the side of the street while the NSX was a bit harder to do cuz the guy didn't know how to drive a stick. it kept stalling on him.

That's what irks me about stolen vehicles .. If it's book value is anywhere near your personal appraisal you almost hope it doesn't make it back home because it's probably been disrespected the entire time it was gone. What is the policy on hidden damages that show up later? The obvious stuff like destroyed / stanky interior is easy to spot but what about a clutch/tranny that are all but destroyed by joy riders ?
