He'll be 20 by the time the tournament rolls around (early December bday) so he's not eligible for the 2015 tournament. If he turned 20 in 2015 he would have been eligible.

Ma and Pa Poirier couldn't hold off another month I guess...

McDavid is the only '15 draft eligible player on that list. Makes you wonder if that draft year talent is going to be the top two in McDavid and Eichel and then a significant drop off from there.

Hanifin is better than any player in the 2014 draft.

I don't think so - it's rare for draft eligible players to make the team, and it is even harder to get invited to the summer camp because the list includes players who will probably be in the NHL next season. Its not until mid season where there are injuries and some turn pro that spots open up. It's not an indicator of the talent for next year.
As for Klimchuk - I feel like he's been heavily underrated by some and really tore it up after his return from injury. I'm not saying he will be exactly like Eberle, but their year by year point totals are comparable to each other and gives me confidence he can produce like any top 6 player can (and that he won't just be a third line forward)

Not to mention guys like Barzal, Konecny and Kylington who look like they are legit elite prospects as well.

Just for reference Ekblad wasn't even invited to last year's summer camp... only Reinhart and McDavid were the only draft eligible players there

Along with Zacha and maybe Strome.
2015 is going to be a really really deep draft.

It's exceptionally rare to have a draft eligible player invited the summer before their draft year...the reason being is that the top ones go to Ivan Hlinka tournament which is usually held the same time. The ones that do get invited are usually players who have late birthdays, so played at U18 the summer before (Reinhart, Monahan, Shinkaruk, etc).
