Looking for Hockey Players for Rec league in Winter

Hey everyone,

My winter team has had some guys drop out due to injury or "being old" so I'm looking for some players who are interested.

We are in AllCal Div E or F (we asked to move down as it was a bit too fast last year on E). Guaranteed home ice of 9:45 PM on Sundays at Gerorge Blundun/Optimist.

We have spots for 5 players at least and are looking for a good mix of D and Forwards.

So what is the average age of the team going to be (new guys excluded)?

What is the estimated cost? And how many games?

30 regular season games + playoffs (guaranteed 2 games I think). Cost is estimated at $750/player. This is a big increase from last winter as all ice contracts in the city have gone up substantially from what I've seen and been told. Just FYI

Average age is about 30-33 or so I would say.

I have a buddy that is moving to Calgary and is interested in a team. I haven't played with him in a few years but he was decent enough back then. He played goalie in University but doesn't play net anymore.

What's the skill level like? He played a few games when I was in Div 2 out here (Burnaby/Vancouver) and could definitely keep up, no superstar or anything. If you are still looking for guys let me know I will get more info to you or him whatever works.
