Flames 2014-2015 How will the Flames, Oilers, Canucks do?
Just as the title says.

I don't know much about what the Oilers and Canucks might do but I do think that the Flames will have an issue replacing the scoring of Mike Cammalleri. Overall, a younger team should do on par with last year or a bit of a regression. I think we end up with a top 3 pick.

Thoughts ?

canucks 9th in west
Flames 14th in west
oilers 5th in WHL

Canucks - 22nd
Oilers - 25th (hate to say it, but they did improve. If they can get a top 6 center they might even be higher than the Canucks)
Flames - 28th

Until the Oilers prove they don't completely suck, the only expectation is last in the west.

Yeah the Oilers were a really bad team last year. Even if they manage to win five more games all that does is close the gap between them and the Flames. I think The Canucks finish 9th. It will be a coin flip between the Flames and Oilers in the basement in the West. I actually hope the Oilers put something together and manage to get out of the bottom five in the league. Especially with this draft coming up. They are just ruining too many young hockey players.

I hope the oil finish lower than the Flames but the Flames win the lottery.

Unless we win the lottery we are not getting McDavid or Eichel. There is no way we are outsucking Buffalo and Ottawa.
