Wow. He had a rough regular season last year... but the playoff performance helped I'm sure.

If Backlund's development continues to progress, (20/45 season this year and excellent overall play) then I think he will be in the $4 million range. I am really happy that he is starting to break out.

Lars Eller's last year was in line with his first couple of seasons. Only in the lockout year did he do better than average.
