Default Short term townhome rental in Orlando. 2.5 miles from Disney World

My family has a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom townhome in Windsor Hills resort in Orlando located 2.5 miles away from Disney World.

Forget the winter blues and feel the warmth of the rooms with Florida-themed decor accentuated with palm, bamboo, water lillies and birds of paradise.

Share your Disney experiences with your loved ones back home with free unlimited long-distance calls to USA, Canada and Puerto Rico. Browse the web with free wireless internet access.

Enjoy the 46" flat screen TV with over 300 channels including the Barclays Premier League Soccer channel and a Sony Playstation 3 in the family room.

Sun bathe or read your favourite novel lying on the lounge chair, take a plunge into the private splash pool or enjoy a drink sitting on the patio chairs and placing your drink on the tile-decorated table top.

Prepare healthy and special-diet meals for your family in the fully equipped kitchen.

Travel light and do your laundry in the washer and dryer.

Watch your favorite TV shows or movies in a flat screen TV with a built-in DVD, while lying in the comfortable king bed in the master suite on the second floor.

Have your kids or young at heart stay on the same floor in the Disney-themed bedroom with two twin beds, with a flat screen TV with a built-in DVD.

Allow your other guests sleep comfortably on a luxurious queen bed in the third bedroom on the first floor.

Complement your Disney experiences by taking advantage of the amenities of the famed Windsor Hills Resort, including:
- 24-hour manned gated community
- lagoon style swimming pool
- tennis and volleyball courts
- fitness room
- video game room
- children's playground
- sundry shop
- movie theatre

We normally charge $130/night for the summer, $160/night for the Easter and Christmas holidays and $99/night for other dates. However, we will give discounts especially if they help fill holes in our availability calendar.

Pictures and more information can be found at: http://*****/

Note:
This is not a time share nor do you have to attend a time share meeting.
An $80 cleaning fee will be charged for stays less than 5 nights.
Price does not include 13% Florida state an Osceola county state tax.
Licensed by the state of Florida.

Guessing from pics it sleeps 6 ( 2 couples and 2 kids )? Any extra room for a sleeping bag /cot or 2? My wife's family has been pestering for us to go down there next winter and I have been looking at stuff like this to make it affordable without cramming everyone into a couple motel rooms.

Yeah we only have room for 6 people as it is right now... You can probably fit a couple of sleeping bags in the living room, but I would have to look into arranging for cots.

Just wanted to share this review from Paul who just checked out last Thursday:

Quote:
This was our first stay at Disney Haven and it surpassed all expectations. The owners were extremely accommodating and they did everything they could to make sure our stay was wonderful (which it was). The accommodations are excellent and the pool and Playstation 3 were great for the kids. Having a full kitchen, living room and plenty of baths allows you to really relax and enjoy your down time. The location of the townhome is conveniently close to all of the Orlando Parks (only 2 miles to Disney). We found the Windsor Hills community great and the staff is very friendly. We took advantage of many of their amenities (the community pool, workout facilities, game room, and neighborhood parks) and found them all top notch. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

The resort office can arrange for a shuttle service to the parks, but I am pretty sure there is a fee charged with it. If you want, I will look into it.

Thanks but looks like she decided to go in may when you were all booked up. I will keep this in mind for future trips though!
