I thought I would toss this up here for anyone who enjoys checking out Niche sports. It's hard because they put it in the middle of the week.
This year is the 3rd annual. I went last year it was allot of fun, no cost to enter just show up with a lawn chair. I'm hoping it keeps coming back, but I've already heard them grumbling that they might pull the plug after this year.
There are a few interesting Canadian story lines;
Whitney McKlintock, a Canadian skier. Has won just about every Elite event around the world over the past 4 years.
Geena Krueger - Daugher of Ralph Kruger, is a young up and coming skier.
Ryan Dodd from Olds is pretty much a lock for at least 2nd place in all of the ski Jumpiing events.
Last year in the Slalom to even qualify for the top 8 on second day, guys were needing to ski what was the world record 15 years ago.
