Action Comics #1 Sells for a Record Breaking 3.2 Million Dollars

Ever wonder if your parents had one or two of these stashed away back in the day? Well if only they had (and kept it in pristine condition), it could have been worth a few million dollars.

I remember reading in Overstreet that many places were offering a million dollars for a CGC 9.4 book, but one in lower grade sells for an additional 2.2 million. My brother and I actually do have Action Comics #1 (extremely low grade mind you, but it's legit). Now I just wonder how much ebay took off the top in this sale? After some checking they say it would only be $250, but I kind of doubt that's all they took from this sale.

I've scrounged through some of my aunts and uncles attics to see if some extremely valuable comics are hidden up there, but all I ever found back in the day were old blankets and photographs. Looks like I'll never hit my million dollar payday.
