Roof Cargo Carrier

We are going on a road trip and need a relatively large rooftop cargo carrier box. Does anyone have any suggestions on models or places to buy them in town?

Racks Unlimited got us all set up. Lots of options. We can use the cargo box for both our vehicles.

Is it something that you will need for just this one trip, or do you want to own it forever?

Might be worth calling uhaul or some place like that to see if you can rent one.

Otherwise kijiji is also an option.

Pro tip - put some kind of reminder on your dashboard to street inn wheel to remind you not to go racing into your garage when the carrier is on top. Don't want to smash it up on the frame of your garage. You can also just move your opener from it's usual spot to someplace more awkward so that it reminds you to stop.
