My wife and I were recently contacted by this company after seeing our ad in the Auto Trader. Since our car's ad ran out without a sale we are considering what this company can do. Their website is located here: Great Cars and Trucks They are affiliated with Auto Loans Canada.

Anyways, they claim that they will list our vehicle for as little as $107.00 (GST included) and if they don't sell it after 3 months they will refund our money. They also say they have a database of buyers (mostly students at this time of the year) waiting for certain vehicles to come in and that since they can offer financing and warranty they are able to sell a vehicle more easily than a private seller could.

We were considering putting it up on consignment at the dealership we orginally bought the car at as another option but we wonder if they will low-ball us.

Does anyone have some advice they can give us or experience in dealing with either route?

Had good experience selling and buying here. Good guys. A little pricy, but worth the convenience when selling.

I know the owners of Park it and Sell it, and let me just say they do a bang up job and it takes a lot of the hastle out of selling the car, which is a huge plus.

Go to Home Depot, slap a For Sale sign on the window, if necessary get some washable neon markers and right the year and price on the windshield, include your phone # on the sign, and then park the car at a lot somewhere with high traffic volumes nearby.

Depending on what kinda car you're selling...post it on Beyond.ca, and print a flyer off your MS Word and plaster it everywhere on MRC and UofC bulletin boards.

Yes, when posting on beyond make sure you are NOT selling your Buick Le Sabre
