Good signings by the Nucks. The term is important, and having both signed short term is good for them. However, they are quickly approaching the cap ceiling. With these signings, they have about 4.2 mill left in cap space (according to capgeek), and only have Vey and Tanev (both RFAs) left to sign. After signing both of them, I'd imagine they will have about 2 mill left over. Not much wiggle room.
I also noticed that Schroeder is a UFA. He really didn't pan out. I recall many were disappointed we didn't get him that draft.
