What would YOU do with it?

Imagine you win hockey's holy grail, and get to keep it for 24 hours, what do you do with it?

Parade it around your home town? Let your kids eat cereal out of it? Use it as a prop to propose to your girlfriend? Eat popcorn out of it at a movie theatre???

Top marks go to the most outrageous and elaborate ideas!

I'd send it to a silversmith paying him in unmarked bills to make an exact copy and keep the original whilst using it as a shaving bowl.

I think it was Scott Niedermayer that did this but I love the idea.

I would take it to my old neighbourhood and let the local kids compete in a road hockey tournament for the Stanley Cup. (no hoisting of course).

I beielve it is Martin Broduer that does that... he -- shamfully -- lets his friends hoist above their heads if they win. I remember Sportsnet doing a feature on it last summer.

Hmmm. Yeah that does sound right MMF. I coudln't remember the specific player - just knew it was a Devil.

Regardless the hoisting should be disallowed. Where's the guy that looks after the cup when that is going on. He needs to step in and start cracking heads!

1) I'd go onto the team that we beat's fav web board, and post stories, pictures and updates (tatooos included)

2)Have a CP Cup (half)day.

Otherwise, just do like most do...take it around, without fanfare, to those people that mean the most to me, to share it. Then sit and stare at it, all alone, for a good few hours to soak in the pinnacle of your sporting life.

The cool stuff usually happens when two or more teammates figure out something to do with it...me having it alone, I would be a personal, reflective mood.

I'd take it to a pawn shop and see what I was offered for it.
