I'm looking to take my young daughter to view the fireworks tonight. Can anyone suggest a place with a decent view that will allow me to get out fairly quickly after they are done? Hoping for somewhere I can park, unfold a couple chairs and watch.
Had a pretty good view at Eau Claire last year, if you don't mind the people. As far as hills and roads, maybe somewhere near center street N? Perhaps someone else can help me here.

I had a good view (though not perfect) last year as I mentioned, but your daughter might have a hard time. If she's young enough you could just put her on your shoulders though.
I wonder about the pedestrian overpass on the east side of the island too. Not the new freedom one, but the old one. Might be good.
