If you still work in the south, I go to
Midnapore Tireland Autopro
15208 Shaw RD SE
254-9899
They are great to deal with and are cheaper than most that I've dealt with.

Mounting rubber is the best plan you can have. Stay in school and stay safe!

Urban X offers good price and good service:
http://urbanexp.ca/
Their website isn't much but just call them for a quote. Ask for the Beyond discount.

Yup, I'm a cheap fool so it's great that they offer you low prices without having to haggle or go online. And Bob the owner really knows his tires!

I have tires for a small car for 30 bucks. I have a friend who can mount them, but you'll need a rim job done for them first.

Came into this thread just to mention Urban Expressions. Bob's the man, great service and sick prices. Picked up a set of winters mounted and balanced for under $500 last fall. Every where else was $700-$900.

Probably depends on where you live but there's a great shop on Horton Rd in the SW behind Schanks that handles tire changes, rotation, balancing, etc.
On a side note, if you're ever stuck on the road without AMA or don't want to put up with the long wait, these guys are great http://www.servforce.ca/

Costco. $15 per tire, with or without rim. I've used them 4 times and all 4 times I had tires that I didn't buy there. Just make an appointment, best to do it before they get busy

That's funny, I just called the Balzac tire centre and they said "have to be costco tires" I asked if that was the same for all Costco tire centres and I was told "they have to be costco tires".
