Default Stampede 2014

I think my kid might enjoy the Stampede Parade this year so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the best options for reserved/paid seating. I'm sure there are various options from various companies. The one option I saw in the Stampede booklet is $80 for kids and $120 for adults which seems a little expensive.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I think with a kid in tow you almost need to go the reserved seat route, otherwise you are there early, and the kid is forced to wait around a couple of hours waiting for the parade to start....that is a long time for a kid.

To me, it would make sense to try and get a spot near the start or the end of of the route....you may be able to leave a little bit ahead of the mob, or get there a little later in the morning.

I also believe the plus 15 overpasses are popular with families.....

Yeah, I don't want to try to deal with general admission along the route. I remember going as a kid and it was brutal. Reserved seating should make it much more enjoyable. +15 doesn't seem like a great idea especially if it is hot. You just end up cooking up there.

Security usually tries to keep the +15's moving. No opportunity to camp and watch the parade.

What I did was park at James short around 6am set up 5 chairs in front of suncor building. My wife took the train down at 8 with our kids. Your on the early route so
Parade finished quick and by parking on 4th you can get out of downtown
