Basically the opposite of the grudges thread. Is there anything or anyone hockey related that you like or admire? A certain team, a particular player? A GM/coach? Keep it positive please!

I've always liked the Blue Jackets for some reason. I liked them even more after going to some of their early games. That crowd was insane! Now that they were a playoff team they were back being crazy again. Fun city, fun fans!

Growing up, I loved watching Bill Ranford play goal. Too bad he was an Oiler.

I have a great respect for Ron MacLean....his knowledge and invo, vement for the game of hockey is awe inspiring to me.

Elliot Friedman is really beginning to grow on me.

Bob Cole.

I don't know if it's that strange but he takes a lot of heat lately as he ages for little lapses here and there. I can forgive it all just to hear him. It's just so nostalgic for me to hear his voice calling a game; reminds me of watching games when I was young.

Brad Marchand.

The second dirtiest, douchiest, piece of crap in the league (next to Cooke) and I can't get enough of him.

Hockey central at noon and Eklund blogs are my guilty pleasures . Funny part is that a mock my wife for watching entertainment tonight and looking at gossip magazines in line at the supermarket. I am no better than her. Lol

The Avs. Mostly for the logo, as embarrassing as that is. I always thought they did a good job with the logo/colours/marketing when they got into the league.

Kevin Weekes seems like a really cool dude. Even though I hate CBC panels typically.

Jay Bouwmeester. I thought (still think) he's an awesome defenceman even when everyone on here hated him.

I also don't mind the Leafs as much as everyone here seems to.

I think Mark Lee is a pretty decent pbp announcer. Kelly Hrudey is also pretty decent in my opinion.
