Default Steve Montador FAN960 Radio Interview

I knwo this is a week old, but did anyone catch this? I just heard it, a lot of fun fluff stuff, but I thought it was interesting when asked who is the best player he ever played with, and his answer was pretty quick: Marian Hossa. Not Iginla, or Toewes or Kane. Thought that was interesting. Also talked a bit about 2004, how its like coming through the AHL and trying to land a NHL spot, who helped in his career the most (Jim Playfair) etc. Great interview.

Goes to show just how underrated Hossa is. Sure he gets talked about but he is always one of the best 2 way players in the game and is rarely in the talk for the Selke.

Yeah I think Montador said the same thing, I don't remember exactly what he said, but said without a doubt Hossa had more skill then anyone he had ever played with, and while he played with some great players, Hossa was great on both ends of the puck. Definately underrated guy.

IIRC they would ask Monty a question and he would go on for a good 3-4 minutes at a time... half-joked that he might want to get into broadcasting someday; seems like a pretty solid guy.
