Default Artificial Grass

Anyone here had it installed in their yard? I'm thinking of doing it in about a 75 sq ft. area for dogs to use. Just wondering if anyone has tips on who maybe to use or avoid. Seems to be a few different companies offering it around.

I've seen a house in the Crestmont district that has the fake grass, looks good but not sure how much it cost.

my wife and i were walking thru a subdivision a while ago and went by a house with fake grass

2 things struck me....

1 - the grass was sooooooo green compared to all the other lawns becuz it was very early in the spring
2 - i chuckled becuz the owner was outside vacuuming her front yard ...seriously!

It is not cheap. I looked at some grass a few weeks ago and it goes from $3 to $5 for the product alone. Install adds a lot of cost because it requires a good base.

There are a lot of options on the market now. Some of the products include varying shades of grass colour so that it looks much more natural.

I have a heavily shaded area in my backyard that is a bit of a mud pit because grass doesn't grow well. I think I will put fake stuff in and I'm leaning towards a putting green surface.
