Default SOLD: 2012 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display (1GB Nvidia 650GT GPU) - $1500

This is in mint condition functionally and physically.

Wouldn't part with this but my work bought me a 13" MBPr so I'm not using the 15" any longer.

This is the 2.3Ghz quad core i7 model with the discrete Nvidia 650GT graphics chip. The 2013 "discrete graphics" model is over $1000 more than this one after taxes.

Features

- Quad Core 2.3 Ghz i7 CPU
- 8GB Ram
- 1GB Nvidia 650GT GPU
- 256GB Solid State HD
- Thunderbolt & USB 3.0
- OSX Mavericks 10.9

First $1500 takes it.

Price police are welcome here - I'm assuming that because the 2013 model has a ~$2000 non-discrete GPU option that $1700 is high? Any thoughts?

$1300-1500 is realistic depending on warranty. I think they are about $1700 when they hit the refurb store (1 year warranty).

It's tough selling stuff right now. I found zero takers for my 2012 15" non retina at $1000 ($450 less than refurb store). I figure your rMBP is worth $300-500 more.

I remember my 2011 MacBook Pro needed a new battery and instead of replacing it ($150-$200) I just sold it on eBay instead and got a fair amount for it. I then went to the apple store and bought a 2013 for about $250 more. Definitely made it worth it to get a new model for an extra $100 or so. (And yes I mentioned the Mac needed a new battery in my eBay post, it really didn't need a new one it would still last 1.5-2 hours but I'm a fan of the 3-4 hours of usage)
