Does Conroy get AGM, or does the team bring in another person?
Brad Treliving is, by all accounts, the new GM.
Who gets the other vacant job, assistant GM?
Craig Conroy? Or does it go to somebody else from outside the organization?

I hope it's Conroy, but Treliving should be able to pick who he wants to work with.

I think Treliving brings in his own guy, but it still wouldn't shock me if Conroy is made AGM or a VP like Yzerman was.
Which makes me kind of sad, since it means he'll likely have to go somewhere else to move up.

Kisio would be a great hire IMO
I would like to see a new AGM and keep Conroy where he is - I think he is still about 5 years away from the AGM role.

I think there's still room for Conny at his current position. especially with the move of the farm club. I would expect to see another AGM hired. Maybe even another burke hire, or one of burke's old boys

He's the Dwight Shrute of our organization. The assistant to the general manager.
His duties mostly seem to be coordinating and mentoring our prospects and working with the farm team. He seems to be quite good at that job and the team is probably moving closer to his hometown digs in New York. I don't think he's ready for a full blown management type role yet.

Lots of teams go with 2 AGMs, or AGM + VP of player personnel. So, no reason to believe we can't keep Conroy around and add an AGM. Kisio seems like a great fit.

On board for Kisio, as long as it's guaranteed Conroy won't leave if that does happen.

Would love Kisio. The guy has OWNED the WHL for 15 years. In that time, they missed the playoffs once, which is ridiculous for a league where player turnover is typically less than 3 years. Oh, and the two titles are nice too.
Kisio was also watching a game with Burke at the end of the season, forget which one. Think he is a hidden gem who has been with this organization for 20+ years.

I think Conroy excels in the position he's in. If he became the 2nd AGM behind say Kisio, that'd be fine.

He's in charge of our AHL affiliate so he's already doing Asst. GM duties. He just needs the title.

...no. There's a difference between hiring/re-hiring the same group of goofs and hiring and keeping good hockey people.
Seeing things as black and white as the way you just painted it, is bad management.
