Open World Survival Games: New Releases/Updates

With how popular DayZ, Rust, and 7 Days to Die have become, I thought it would be cool to see people's opinions of the games. And with the Forest and H1Z1 coming out how do you think DayZ/Rust will manage?

Rust has a ton of potential, but it's unplayable as a casual player right now (unless something changed in the last few months).

Basically if you don't log in for a couple weeks, you lose everything.

I recently tried out a new game called State of Decay. Pretty good. Similar vein t rust and DayZ. To me it seems like a blend of L4D, Dead Island and that last stand game on FB. Pretty good. Stresses me out everytime I sit down to play a bit, good sign for a zombie genre game.

I wanted to like DayZ but beta put me off. Not sure where it's at now but it was too difficult to play solo. Nights were too dark, zombie run patters were to bugged up, not sure the hit boxes were the best. Has it improved?

loved state of decay, graphics are dated somewhat (think San Andreas with zombies) but gameplay is superb...
