Great hire, is the exact kind of GM we need to compliment our current structure.
It's kind of weird being a Flames fan and not having a new hire be some re-tread, but rather be a candidate fans were actually interested in.

Yup the were discussing the rumoured interview on the fan with Friedman and boom there it is.
I don't know much about the guy but they really got bang for their buck in Phoenix so seems like a good hire to me.
Glad they got a guy before the draft. Was starting to feel like Burkey wanted to do it himself.

I don't know anything about the guy but I imagine it doesn't really matter with Burke at the helm and Button likely getting more say in who gets picked. I'm sure it will be just fine until he inevitably gets fired.
