Ryan Leslie gone?
Ryan Leslie @fan960ryan Want to thank @Sportsnet960 for a chance to dip my toe into the sports radio world. Grateful for the opportunity!
Looks like Ryan Leslie is leaving the Fan....Seems abrupt.

Is it just me or have they installed a revolving door in that studio?

If this is true, that sucks big time. I liked his show. He and Patty Steins worked well together, he kept his guests talking and involved with no dead or awkward airspace, and his sense of humor was impeccable. He is a great host.

Figures. SN finds someone with brains and ability and immediately gets rid of them. No doubt they'll be bringing in Charlie Simmer....

Yeah. He seemed pretty well connected though. Lots of guests that knew him well, him and Pat seemed to work well, maybe not a deep knowledge of anything other than hockey. Wonder why and where he's going...

I liked Ryan quite a bit. With he and Pinder coming to the FAN I think they made solid moves when Bryn and Walker left (disliked both of them).
That's too bad he is gone if true

I liked Leslie, I wonder what happened. I also wonder if Steinberg will now be asked to fill air time with more circular monologues.

He was alright. He played devil's advocate a little too often for me.
I'm pretty sure one of his favourite lines was "I don't disagree Pat, but what about .... " and then would argue whatever side he'd just come up with, which varied on whether it was even a remotely worthwhile point or not.

Yeah....this isn't him. I've never caught his name in the middle of...
"and in NHL action the Flames and.....Panth..Blue Jac...Wild are in action tonight for action in the dome and more action."

Didn't mind Leslie, he was far better than the shill he replaced.

He probably left on his own -- radio isn't really a very good job.
I was in school with a girl who's friends with Steinberg and said he has to still live with his parents.

Pretty sure that is a lie. I believe he lives in his own apartment.
