I'd probably swap Gaudreau and Sven, but other then that it's nice to see some Flames prospects get some love.

I won't point out that Teravainen is 5 on that list while Jankowski is notably absent or that Maata is a Calder finalist ... I don't want to start that debate again .... (whoops)

In seriousness, it is good to see the number of Flames on that list. Especially some of the later round guys (Reinhart, Granlund).

That's great and all but we need a good handful of these players to pan out into NHL players.

I think Teravainen is going to have a hard time translating his offence to the nhl

I don't know about that. The kid is an elite skater and his shot is off the charts. He had one rough game in his stint, Q told him he better start shooting more and proceeded to have a 4 shot game the next game.

He's probably going to be quite good.

Too many NHL players on that list and it seems to be the who's who from draft positions and hype not actual play on the ice this year.

Bo Horvat ahead of Anthony Mantha
Curtis Lazar ahead of Emile Poirier

Show me any GM that wouldn't trade Dmitrij Jaskin for Johnny Gaudreau!

I think they got the order right. Klimchuk had a pretty tough year with injuries, but still managed to put up 74pts in 57 gp. For comparison Reinhart put up 79pts in 71gp in his draft+1 year.

I'm hoping after next season Klimchuk is going to show why he was a first round pick in a pretty deep draft.

Those arguing about order need to remember this list is for fantasy purposes only. Players aren't ranked based on their skill or even projected nhl career.

Fantasy hockey only (meaning usually points only).

If Tatar is still considered a prospect, then so should Monahan.

good to know expectations are being kept in check... (half joking, but we need to give him time to develop at the pro level)

Johnny has a long road ahead of himself. Next year will be his first pro season, and with his size already in question, the physical wear and tear of playing 80 games will be a new experience as well.

Right now, Poirier has definitely caught my interest and Wotherspoon is going to be fun to watch next year as well. That being said, we really need some good d-prospects. Hopefully Sieloff can get healthy and have a good year.

Yes, I think we all know Gaudreau has a long road ahead of him. But so does Sven, and IMO Gaudreau is much more gifted skill wise then Sven.
