Just realised that with one more loss on the season, Flames are guaranteed to finish no higher than 26th, however there is a very slight possibility that if they win the next 3 games in regulation/overtime they can finish as high as 23rd... for that to happen though, Carolina, Winnipeg and Vancouver would have to lose all of their remaining games.
Whatever... Go Flames! I would love to see us crush the kings as a big statement game near the end of the season. I assume those other teams will win at least one game each on the way out of the season so I hope fairness takes care of itself.
We already jeopardized the 4th pick with solid goaltending from not only Ramo, but even Mac had a good game. Love the winning, even with having one of the worst lineups in the NHL.

has anyone seen anything to indicate if quick is playing tonight? (i'd think the kings are on the ice now so maybe i am too early) i am only asking because my son is a huge quick fan and i bought him tickets to tonights game for a christmas gift.......
as an aside, i managed to score a set of row 1 tickets in the 200 level from a CP poster. It will be my first time sitting in "the best seats in the house" - looking forward to it.......

The kings actually look really good right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a deep run in the playoffs. The Flames have a team that on paper looks like it should be 30th in the NHL.

Unfortunately due to life stuff I have had to watch the last couple on x4 speed.
Seems solid. Fast and big and tough with his checks. Probably not suited for 1st line minutes like he was vs NJ, great 3rd/4th line fit though. Conditioning needs work.
