Default Craig Berube can hold a grudge

Berube settles a score with Jeremy Roenick.

He does, and that is all that matters because J ####in R says so.

Maybe Vulcan. I thought he was a very good hockey player that became a very recognizable star because of his personality and outspoken nature.

Epitomizes big bad Flyers hockey. Decent first season as their head coach too.

I thought of Roenick as one of the stars of the league back in the early/mid 90s. He might not have had the skills of a superstar, but he sure had the personality of one.

I like the guy. Sure, he's got an ego on him, but he's honest and always has something interesting to say. He's the Charles Barkley of hockey.

Everytime I think of the Anaheim/Calgary brawl, I think of poor Jeff Friesen and I laugh. Berube was awesome.

Roenick was pretty close to a superstar in the early/mid 90s. Fast, strong, great shot.

Good thing JR can look back light hearted with that "catch up". It sounds like JR got sucker punched in that lockerroom.

Would be hilarious if JR eventually got back at Berube when he's in his 80's and punches him back

I remember the discussion here back in 2006 (I think) when Friesen and Roenick were UFA. Crazy that they were comparable players at any point

What a dud Friesen was for us

When Roenick was with Black Hawks he definitely was a super star, it all went downhill from there.

He was a good player, maybe a star but what kind of a player refers to himself as a super star? For me he is just aggravating and I don't blame Berube one bit.

Roenick had multiple 100 pt seasons and was a PPG player or better his whole time with the Hawks. Plus he had the highest overall rating in NHL 97. I'd call that superstar-dom.
