Default CelAgora - Canadian Cell Plan Comparison Tool

Came across this recently, thought it would be useful.

http://www.celagora.com

I'm amazed how much more I'm paying for Bell vs. some of the other entrants in the market.

I find it confusing. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I looked for a plan with unlimited voice and 2gb data, and it said Telus had one for $60.

Went to the Telus website, and that plan most definitely does not exist.

They have Koodo on there.
What it looks like is that it doesn't include the price for tiered level plans.

So the Telus Lite 60 lists as Unlimited minutes and 3GB data. However, if you were actually to use 3GB, it would cost you $125 instead of $60.

Neat idea for a site though.

Agreed, not a very good tool. Didn't realize I was comparing BYOD plans at first. No mention of Canada wide calling versus local. Amount of voice mail slots (though that isn't a big deal for most people). Lots of weird plans that are either wrong or don't exist (Flex data option/data lite on Telus... What?)

Calculating data, though interesting when taking into potential averages is still a bit iffy in my opinion. Then again that applies to plans with greater than 2 or 3GB I think.

Default celAgora.com here!

Hi all,

I'm listening, thanks for all your comments.

There's a few issues indeed. I need to refine the process and concentrate on Alberta.

Ill keep you posted on the status... Should be within a week...
