Centre Ice games

1700h

Coyotes at Devils---the Devils need to win this game to stay in the eastern wildcard race
and help the western conference teams trying to catch the Coyotes.

Kings at Penguins---could this be a preview to the Stanley Cup Finals?

At 1730h
Islanders at Lightning---not much to be said here
Hurricanes at Panthers---same as above

At 1800h
Wild at Blues---The Blues lead the race for top spot in the league and
western conference with three other teams. The Wild are only six points
up on the Stars.
Sabres at Predators---The Predators need to win tonight and tomorrow
to stay in the race.

1900h---Canucks at Avalanche---can the Canucks win their fourth straight game?
2030h---Jets at Sharks---The Jets are in the same situation as the Predators.
The Sharks are two points back of the Blues.

There is, supposedly, a 1% chance Florida catches us. It's better if the Canes get nowhere near not getting both points and win in regulation.

Plus, if Edmonton passes Florida, then that lowers their chance of getting the guy they want, which is awesome.

After one period of play
Habs lead 2-0, Kings lead 1-0, Bruins lead 1-0, Coyotes lead 1-0.

If the Sabres lose tonight (regulation or extra time), it will be mathematically impossible for the Flames to finish 30th.

They don't have their 1st round pick, so they should be trying extra hard for every point.

Go Carolina, Nashville and NYI.

Tough to see NYI winning but hopefully they can fluke out a point.

I would think/hope with a win and the amount of games remaining that should put Nashville ahead of us for sure.

Damn Ducks. They'll probably win the cup, and yet still end up with a higher draft pick than us because of Ottawa's suck factor.

Wow giveaway of the year by bishop.

2-1 isles should be 3-1 they scored from centre ice after bishop passed it up but and some guy was changing at the far door so the play was offside.

Florida gonna struggle to win another game. Hurts the Oilers though so it's a good thing.
