Default FS: 2 Acer H340 home or business servers

See link. If Ricosuave wants them he has first dibs. If anyone else wants them, the price is (I think) a steal at $150.

Great deal on these! Very nice units. When you say you took the second one apart, how much are you talking about? Are we getting a big pile of pieces?

I unplugged some of the sata cables and then unscrewed the mounts to the boards they were on, to lift the boards out to see if they were fried... ie. like taking a sound card out of an ATX. They were fine.

Putting it back together should be easy enough to the point I'm wondering why I didn't just do so and plug it in to see if it worked... part of the reason is I didn't know where my recovery discs were. Now I have the discs and those discs are critical to make the servers work on a fresh drive.

Here's the link to the discussion about the discs: http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=130085

I moved to a QNap that's the only reason these aren't up and running in my house. The QNap has some applications I needed which these do not support.

I get a kick out of kijiji responses where people are negotiating the price. To buy these working is, well, such that you could buy them, put one together, and sell it for more than my price.... i.e. free server. I guess kijiji sellers are assumed sketchy.

I'm thinking I'll put the other one together tonight and test it and take the listing down then sell separately.

Sorry I didn't get back to you in a timely manner Delgar, work has been nutty this week.

I'm sure they went to a good home.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
