Isn't the power ring sub-forum a good place to start looking?

Gail: Oh, You make it seem so easy. Wow, any time I'm around caulk it's a recipe for disaster.

Mitch: It's true. I've known Gail for a long time and she cannot handle caulk. But, me, I love caulk. Always have. It's amazing.

Gail: So, how do we know when it's hard, the caulk?

Tyler: Oh, you'll know just by looking at it.

Mitch: Does blowing on it help?

Tyler: Can't hurt.

Gail: You know, Tyler, it looks like you've used too much there.

Mitch: Oh, you can never have too much caulk.

I used these guys: http://floorshop.ca/

Contact: cheryl@surfaces-reno.com

Long story short: I hired a friend who said he did hardwood floors. He made an absolute MESS of my hardwood (almost ruined 1800 sq ft of flooring). Floor Shop sent a guy in, and within 4 days had sanded down all the flooring, re-stained it, and refinished it. They didn't even need to pull off my baseboards.

They did an AWESOME job with barely any dust, and I sold my place 2 weeks later.

I would recommend them to anyone.

That's a good question that deserves some clarification.

If you are a CPer who has a business, wants to promote your business, and meets the Power Ring guidelines, the Power Ring is the place to post.

If you are a CPer looking for recommendations like the OP here, the Off Topic forum is a good place as it will generate more views, and more discussions. (As well as more Classic Rock lyrics or SNL transcripts from Troutman.)

Where it could get grey, if you are a CPer who has a business like the OP is asking for, the two appropriate responses are as follows:
- Sending info via PM
- Posting a link to your Power Ring thread.

So if this was a thread asking about real estate lawyers, I can say to contact Troutman, but Troutman should post a link to his power ring thread or send a PM.

I love the old school hardwood floors that can be re-sanded. The typical price is $2.50-$3 a sq feet with all materials included. Which IMO is a good deal since a gallon of stain from Bellare costs $150 and they usually need two or three for about 1000 sq ft.

I know my sister has an appointment booked on the 7th to do hers so can't really recommend them yet but the price was about $2.50.
