There can't possibly be a group of people with a more misplaced persecution complex. Think about the chutzpah it takes to buy a $1,500 pair of tech glasses, which you can take on or off at any time you like, and then feel like a VICTIM because you couldn't wear them in an $85 prix fixe restaurant. It's like, "Oh my God! This Coach store won't take my Platinum Diner's Club card! THAT'S SLAVERY!"

And the best part is that no amount of ####-throwing will keep Gl#######s from reconsidering what spoiled, ####ty people they are. You, Mr. Late Adopter, are just trying to thwart progress. Soon you'll give in and join in the cyborgization of the American population. DON'T FEAR THE FUTURE.

• Apple fanboys

I don't get the vegans thing - most of them recognize that practically speaking they can't convert people and are usually super reserved about their dietary habits and motivations therefor unless you're actually eating with them, at which point an explanation is called for. Also, beer snobs benefit everyone by guiding them towards good beer. Those guys have introduced me to so much good stuff... and most of them don't mind having a Keiths once in a while either. Honestly at this point maybe I even qualify as a beer snob but I drink everything, there's an 8pack of Bud in my back seat right now just in case.

To make my own case, the above list is two groups of people who are absolutely convinced of their own righteousness and the need to share their message with others (twitter feminists and apple fanboys), and two groups basically comprised of loud, obnoxious morons whose blind devotion is pseudo-religious but without the context of culture, honestly held moral beliefs and subject matter importance (Sox fans and Beliebers).

Basically there are a lot of religious parallels but at least if you're being a dick about your religion, it's usually in relation to something with some social importance, rather than ####ty music or guys hitting a ball with a stick.

I've actually been doing Crossfit for a few years now......and almost never tell people that I do. I enjoy the workouts, and it works for me, but I just can't buy into the whole "culture" of the majority of people that do it. So much elitist ######-baggery.
