Default March 13 - 7 Games

7 Games tonight:

PHX v BOS
BUF v CAR
SJ v CBJ
FLA v TB
EDM v STL
NYR v MIN
TOR v LAK

Also, I don't know if I hadn't noticed but the NHL homepage has a new look and it seems to follow twitter updates regarding live games. It might take a little getting used to, but everyone should take a look.

And TSN swallowed the koolaid and has now forgotten how sucky bad the Greasers have been now the pressure is off and they are actually showing some form of system play.

I always love seeing Wayne, it sucks that you only get to see him a couple times a year these days. If he is willing to take the job I would love for Rogers to hire him as some sort of analyst. He wouldn't need to be there for every broadcast, but make an appearance every couple weeks, or show up via satellite; that would be one way for me to get on board with this new deal.

Commentators for this game are Gord Miller and Mike Johnson.
I hope that this game has a pre game ceremony and goes into a shootout.
The Leafs play in the second game and it would be preempted because
TSN2 has a NBA game on at that time.

It is now 2-2 in the battle of Florida. The Panthers scored a dozen seconds after the Lightning did and it is still in the first period. Luongo is on the bench.

I like the change but the grey background on the scoreboard clashes with the rest of the webpage. I also like the arial font for the scores, game statistics, and the twitter posts on the home page.

What a goal by Sobtoka. Blues tie it up 1-1.

Dreger says that Yakupov probably won't be an Oiler next season.

TSN panel was drinking the Oilers koolaid during the intermission, and the team comes out and 3 players lose their coverage, leading to a Blues goal.

Looks like a bad OOT for Flames fans when it comes to draft position. Tampa Bay is in full control now, they are up 4-2 vs Florida after 40. Edmonton and Carolina also trailing 2-1 each.

The Sharks tie the game 15 seconds into the third period and score just over five minutes later to take a 3-2 lead with less than six minutes left in regulation time.

The Wild led 1-0 after the first period. Boogard ties the game in the second period.

There's a lot of talk about the Oilers playing better, but they're still pretty awful against the Western Conference.

Their only wins against the Pacific are the two against the Flames; one against the Nucks in the middle of their collapse; and the San Jose game where Scrivens stopped 59 shots.

That's a shame. Wonder which team is going to regret acquiring him?

Would you even give up a first rounder for him, let alone a top two defencemen like the Oilers are asking for?

Without a doubt. His value is nowhere near what it was when he was drafted, but he still has decent value.
